Fatigue Test Machines on resonance principle. - Sincotec, Germany
SincoTec manufactures resonance machines for specimen and vehicle componant testing using electromagnet or electricmotors as excitor. They also manufacture servo-pneumatic,servo-hydraulic,electro mechanical test systems for testing variety of components.
SincoTec has full fledged test facility where most of the reputed automotive OEM and their suppliers test components.

Advantages of Resonance Pulsator over electromagnetic shaker
1
The Resonating Pulsator is a full fledged integrated Test System with actuating mechanism, control system, display, software, crack detection, etc.
2
Application of mean load up to the machine capacity is possible. This is important criteria for many tests and for fatigue life.
3
Load Capacity is sufficient to test variety of components, such as Crank shaft, connecting rod, bolts, brackets, livers, knuckle, chains, etc.
4
It is possible to apply displacement up to 14 mm as compared to around 2mm possible with electromagnetic table
5
Since Resonating Pulsator is a fine tuned system, the advantage of lower power consumption is completely derived.
6
Resonating Pulsator is rugged system as compared to vibrating table. Overloading causes failure of rod connecting Vibrating table and test fixture. Failure of armature is also observed.
Advantages of Resonance Pulsator over servo hydraulics
1
Very Low Power consumption- Low operating cost
2
No power pack, No hydraulics, No servo valve,-Low maintenance cost
3
Faster- Operates Typically at > 100 Hz
4
Overall space requirement is smaller
5
Ideal for stiff components and material Testing
6
Special infrastructure not required
7
Movable from one place to other
8
Unattended operation is possible as other infrastructure such as hydraulic power pack, cooling tower are not required
Disadvantages/Limitations
1
Not suitable for components with high damping e.g. shock absorber
